A wobbly tower of kombucha, kimchi, kefir and kraut, with Kombucha Kev steadying it

This article gives you a quick overview on why stacking the 4Ks of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut can superpower your way to better gut health.

Why you should believe:

  • The Functional Drinks Club taproom in Otley, near Leeds sells the largest range of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut in the UK.
  • We've successfully helped 100s of people improve their gut health by adding the 4Ks into their daily diet.
  • We only sell real deal products that are made the correct way, unlike 99% of what you buy in the supermarket.

Visit the taproom in Otley, near Leeds, or order a kombucha box that goes anywhere in the UK to start transforming your gut health right away.

Quick run through of how I stack the 4Ks during a day

In this video I run through how I go about stacking the 4Ks of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut throughout the day.

That includes what I have for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including when I drink kombucha during it all.

Once you get into the swing of it, you'll find that it becomes second nature to you.

The 4Ks of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut are like rocket fuel for your gut health

If you've been into the taproom or at one of our gut health events you would have heard me talk about stacking the 4Ks of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut in one day to give you optimum gut health performance.

I do this to keep my taste buds interested, to ensure I get all the different strains of bacteria found across each of the 4Ks, and to reduce the amount of acidity I'm placing on my teeth from kombucha drinking.

At the end of the day, diversity of food and drink is what it's all about when it comes to having a healthy gut and high functioning microbiome.

And because I'm Scottish, I like that everything stretches a little further when you're having a little bit of each throughout the day instead of necking a whole bottle of kombucha in one sitting.

There is such a thing as too much kombucha in a day.

I won't jabber on too long about it in writing. Instead, I've created a handy little video (above) of me talking about how I go about stacking the 4Ks of kombucha, kimchi, kefir, and kraut in a day.

Quick summary of the article

  • Stacking the 4Ks throughout the day gives you the full spectrum of good bacteria your gut needs.
  • Stacking means you use smaller amounts of each of the 4Ks.
  • You can drink kombucha at any time of the day.
  • Consistency beats big amounts, I never go 24 hours without one of the 4Ks.
